Relating to activating public life in public space, I would like to activate public life in public spaces such as the public library! I would like to bring the library to the public with a book bike! A custom designed book bike called Speed Reader will look like the character Speed Racer to get the public to read and use the library resources which contain more than just books! It will be a floating library, a bookmobile on two wheels and a full range of DIY programming to take to coffee shops, parks, and neighborhoods without any non-profits in the area.
