Macon’s Most Inclusive Playground
Ultimately, the goal is to get ‘Macon’s Most Inclusive Playground’ in Macon, where gaps in disability recreation abound.
This specific funding is to gain public input, excitement, and expertise for an inclusive playground in Macon that’s thoughtfully crafted for children across the ability spectrum and their families.
We’ve identified three ways to accomplish that:
(1) facilitating playground accessibility SME’s to engage with local leadership urban development leadership,
(2) working with local disability groups to give feedback on existing accessibility playground equipment in Macon, and
(3) bringing the community together to have discourse around accessibility and share this project.
