Moira Villiard is a visual artist who grew up on the Fond du Lac Reservation and who currently currently works full-time at Duluth’s only American Indian center (AICHO) as the Arts & Cultural Programming Coordinator. Her passion is community organizing, arts access, creative placemaking (with an emphasis on Indigenous land acknowledgement), and curating spaces that allow underrepresented communities to flourish and share their stories.
She’s served on the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council since she was 18 and currently runs her own freelance design business.
Goody Night is an artistic storytelling experience that creates a platform for people of diverse backgrounds to better connect within the community. A Goody Night establishes meaningful connections among artists in cities across the country, through storytelling events that are coordinated at designated times and venues. We believe we can enhance and inspire our communities by focusing on the more objective meaning inherent in artists’ work. Mediums such as music, painting, film, etc. are strategically combined in order to achieve our goals.
